Prototype

From prospectus to instrument data.

Your teams’ record, every value tied to its source. Uncertainties are flagged, never invented.

Instrument record review: value, qualification and source passage side by side

01Record

Populate the record.

From the field model to a question on the prospectus, without leaving the application.

The model drives extraction

You describe the record you expect: sections, fields, types, validation rules, and formulas for what is derived. Extraction then aligns to that model, not the other way round. A model change carries over to subsequent instruments without rebuilding what exists.

Field model editor in Instrument Data
The field model, defined by the institution rather than by the tool.

Review happens facing the source

Each extracted field sits next to the passage that justifies it. Ambiguous or missing values are flagged; the analyst decides, corrects or validates. Control stays in the tool, not in an export to rework elsewhere.

Prism answers without inventing

You ask the prospectus in natural language. When the extract is not enough, Prism says so and offers to look up the clause in the document, with pages cited. The analyst stays in control.

Conversation with Prism: prospectus question, sourced answer or offer to search further
Prism: a sourced answer, or a search offered when the extract is not enough.

02Traceability

What comes with the record.

Not a list of filled-in fields: context stays attached to each value and to the record.

The source passage
The extract of the document that justifies the value, quoted and located.
Where the value comes from
Direct extraction, formula calculation, rule application or manual input: the distinction is explicit.
How certain it is
Found, calculated, ambiguous or missing. Ambiguous and missing are surfaced, never guessed.
Review status
Draft, in review or validated at record level; field-by-field validation, with who did what and when.
Notes
Comments on a field or on the whole record, to keep review context.

03Coverage

What Instrument Data covers.

Documents, model, outputs and stage.

Functional coverage
DocumentsStructured-product prospectuses and final terms, as PDF. The source document remains downloadable in full.
Data modelFields, sections, types, rules and formulas defined by the institution. No schema imposed.
OutputsInstrument records exportable in tabular formats, with qualification and source reference, at any time.
StageFunctional prototype in business validation, on a scoped document set. Scope extends from the documents of the first teams.

04Security

Hosting, access and data handling

Where the data runs and who can access it.

Hosting
Microsoft Azure, European region, with application environments and data separated per client.
Access and logging
Microsoft Entra ID, named accounts, role-based permissions, logging of actions and parameter changes.
Client data
Documents and records stay in your environment and do not feed the training of any model.
Documentation
Architecture file, data flows and access matrix: documented and available on request.

05FAQ

Three frequent questions.

How do you verify a value is correct?
Every value is qualified, linked to the source passage that justifies it, and goes through human review with a validation status. The tool speeds up reading and pre-filling; it does not replace human review.
What happens when the document is ambiguous?
The value is flagged as ambiguous and raised for review, together with the relevant passage. This is a frequent case on these documents, and the product is built to surface it rather than decide on its own.
How does a scoping exercise work?
A conversation about your product types and field model, then a test on a sample of your documents. We say what the tool covers on that sample and what it does not.
